Poland ratified the Convention on 27 December 2012, the Convention entered into force for Poland on 1 June 2013.

Stockpile Destruction (Article 4)

In its 2013 transparency report Poland reported a stockpile of 16,957 anti-personnel mines to be destroyed. Given that the Convention entered into force for Poland on 1 June 2013, Poland's deadline for destroying or ensuring the destruction of all stockpiled anti-personnel mines is 1 June 2017.

On 28 November 2016, Poland reported that it had completed the destruction of all stockpiled anti-personnel mines as of April 2016.

In total, Poland reported having destroyed 1,055,971 stockpiled anti-personnel mines.

Mine Clearance (Article 5)

In its 2013 transparency reports, Poland reported that there were no mined areas under its jurisdiction or control.
