Nauru acceded to the Convention on 7 August 2000, and the Convention entered into force for Nauru on 1 February 2001. Stockpile Destruction (Article 4) Nauru reported that it had no stockpiled anti-personnel mines under its ownership or possession. Mine Clearance (Article 5) Nauru reported that there were no mined areas under its jurisdiction or control.
