Iceland ratified the Convention on 5 May 1999, and the Convention entered into force for Iceland on 1 November 1999. Stockpile Destruction (Article 4) Iceland reported that it had no stockpiled anti-personnel mines under its ownership or possession. Mine Clearance (Article 5) Iceland reported that there were no mined areas under its jurisdiction or control.
