Juan Carlos Ruan, from the Convention’s Implementation Support Unit (ISU) participated in the conference, Management of Residual Contamination, which took place in Algeria from 21 to 24 October 2014.

 

At the event, which was part of the GICHD’s Arabic-language outreach programme, the ISU explained the relationship between residual contamination and a State Party’s obligations under the Convention.
