Convention President holding an update on the margins of NDM in Geneva

The Convention President, together with the Committees on Victim Assistance, Cooperative Compliance, Article 5 Implementation, and Enhancement of the Cooperation and Assistance chaired held a briefing on the margins of the National Mine Action Centre Directors meeting in Geneva. The briefing highlighted the importance of States Parties submitting detailed information on progress made in implementing the Convention and the Oslo Action Plan in their Article 7 reports due by 30 April 2020 to provide a baseline for all indicators under the Plan.

Article 7 Reports will serve as the main source of data to assess progress with members of the Coordinating Committee and the President responsible for measuring progress within their mandate, supported by the Implementation Support Unit.
