PRESIDENCY
The President of the Sixteenth Meeting of the States Parties (16MSP) was H.E. Thomas Hajnoczi, Ambassador of Austria to the United Nations in Geneva. Ambassador Hajnoczi was also among the first diplomats to work towards developing the Convention's Text.
Austria's Presidency which started at the conclusion of the Fifteenth Meeting of the States Parties on 1 December 2016, ended at the conclusion of the Sixteenth Meeting of the States Parties.
