Cocktail reception hosted by Australia
Australia hosted a reception which provided a showcase for inclusive artistic and cultural projects in Cambodia.
WEDNESDAY 30 NOVEMBER
Field Visit to Ksach Kandal District, Kandal Province
Experts visited Veterans International’s Community Based Rehabilitation (CBR) project. The visit provided an opportunity to meet with self-help groups and with families undertaking small business or home garden activities to improve their livelihoods. The CBR project is implemented in collaboration with Kien Khleang National Rehabilitation Centre.
Experts participated in an informal session which reflected upon two decades of efforts to end the suffering and casualties caused by AP mines.
THURSDAY 1 DECEMBER
Field Visit to Banteay Prieb, Kandal Province
Banteay Prieb is a residential vocational training school for survivors and other persons with disabilities providing opportunities for economic inclusion and psychosocial support. During the visit experts viewed the various training programmes and talked with students.
