Paraguay ratified the Convention on 13 November 1998, and the Convention entered into force for Papua New Guinea on 1 May 1999. Stockpile Destruction (Article 4) Paraguay reported that it had no stockpiled anti-personnel mines under its ownership or possession. Mine Clearance (Article 5) Paraguay reported that there were no mined areas under its jurisdiction or control.
