Lesotho acceded to the Convention on 2 December 1998, and the Convention entered into force for Lesotho on 1 June 1999. Stockpile Destruction (Article 4) Lesotho reported that it had no stockpiled anti-personnel mines under its ownership or possession. Mine Clearance (Article 5) Lesotho reported that there were no mined areas under its jurisdiction or control.
